On
consecutive weekends this month, we'll feature a couple of special
Acoustic Storms to celebrate the Summer Olympics and the anniversary of
Woodstock.
With
London as the host city for a record third time since the Olympics
began, we'll play all British artists the weekend of 8/11-12 on the
"U.K. Storm." The Rolling Stones will take the honors in the Eye of The
Storm, as the Stones commemorate their 50th anniversary as a band.
For
the weekend of 8/18-8/19, we'll remember Woodstock with Storm mini-sets
consisting of artists who performed at that historic music festival at
Yasgur's Farm in upstate New York in August, 1969. A special
double-bill of Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin will top the bill in the
Eye of The Storm.
