April is here and that means the start of baseball season, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremonies and Earth Day. With Stormy April showers and warmer temperatures, it's a great time of the year.
For the first weekend of the month, we'll throw out the first pitch with a unique version of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" from Steve Goodman. You'll also hear a couple of April Fool's Day songs with Pete Townshend & Ronnie Lane's "April Fool" and "The Joker" from Steve Miller. Fleetwood Mac will go into the Eye of The Storm on 4/1 (no joking!).
During the weekend of 4/7-4/8, we'll celebrate some of the artists that are getting the call into the Hall with Donovan in the Eye of The Storm, along with class of 2012 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame members Small Faces and Laura Nyro. By the way, you can read the Acoustic Storm's exclusive interview with Donovan on the AS website.
Mother Nature takes over the weekend 4/21-4/22 for the Earth Day Acoustic Storm with environmentally-inspired music from The Beatles, Neil Young, Kansas, Joni Mitchell and many more, including Bob Dylan in the Eye of The Storm.
The Eagles (4/14-4/15) and Led Zeppelin (4/28-4/29) round out the month as featured artists on The Acoustic Storm.
Here's the April line-up for artists in The Eye of The Storm:
3/31-4/1: FLEETWOOD MAC
4/7-4/8: DONOVAN (2012 Rock Hall of Fame Inductee)
4/14-4/15: EAGLES
4/21-4/22: BOB DYLAN (Earth Day theme)
