Leaping into 2012

Happy New Year from The Acoustic Storm!

2012 is a leap year, and The Storm jumps into it with Van Morrison, Billy Joel, John Mellencamp, The Who and America as our featured artists for January.

By the way, if you haven't seen "Last Play at Shea," it's worth checking out. As this music documentary/concert film makes clear, Billy Joel's career and the existence of New York's Shea Stadium have some interesting parallels. Of course, that comparison only goes so far, since Billy continues to play music, and Shea was replaced as the Mets' home and occasional concert venue by Citi Field in 2009.

Here's the Eye of The Storm line-up for January:

12/31-1/1 VAN MORRISON

1/7-1/8 BILLY JOEL

1/14-1/15 JOHN MELLENCAMP

1/21-1/22 "WHO'S NEXT" (acoustic versions)

1/28-1/29 AMERICA
